We've Lost A Legend
Koko Taylor has died at age 80. This is a tremendous loss. She was a personal favorite of mine. I had the great pleasure of seeing her live on several occasions. She is unmistakably the Queen of the Blues. My heart goes out to her family and friends. This is for you Koko.

It's not just my beloved Paste Magazine that is suffering hard times, R & R Magazine will be folding this week. It's final issue will be June 5th. Bummer. I have spent many an hour perusing that magazine. Sad. You will be missed.
