Sweden did it again!

I try to pride myself on being up on as much music as possible. Of course, that's impossible and many go under my radar. Club 8 is one example of this. Maybe it's the name? Club 8 just doesn't fit the music they are creating. Club 8 is Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård of Sweden, naturally. They have released 6 full length records, but I was given "The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Dreaming" as my introduction to the duo (thanks David). It hasn't left rotation since. There is something so sweet and melancholy about this record. You actually enjoy hearing about death as they sing about it with a sweetness and charm that is infectious. It was recorded in 2007 after a 4 year hiatus. Dear Club 8, keep the music coming! (P.S. I adore the retro album cover!)
